SASANIAN KINGS. Bahram IV. AD. 388-399. Silver Drachm (3.98 gm; 25 mm). mint: AT (Aturpadgan-Azarbaijan) left of the flame on the reverse. Struck circa AD 394-399. Bust right, wearing winged merlon crown with korymbos / Fire altar with ribbons; flanked by two attendants. SNS type Ia1/3 (pl. 37, A26); Göbl type I/3 (pl. 8, 136); Paruck -; Saeedi -; Sunrise 877var. Minor graffiti on obverse field, otherwise well struck. Choice Good VF. Toned.
