MYSIA. Cyzicus. Caracalla. 198-217 AD. Æ Medallion (43mm - 43.29 g). Aelius Onesiphoros, archon. Struck 214-215 AD. Laureate and cuirassed bust right, holding scepter over left shoulder / Caracalla standing facing, head turned left, sacrificing over lighted altar from patera held in right hand, scepter in left hand; flanked by two eagle-tipped standards, each banner decorated with three stars. SNG France 776 (same obverse die); SNG von Aulock 1277 (same obverse die); SNG Copenhagen -; BMC -. Nice VF, attractive brown patina with choice surfaces. .
