Arab-Byzantine, Syria and Palestine. Imperial bust type. 680s-ca. 693. Æ fals (20 mm, 3.76 g, 5 h). Hims (Emesa). K/A/Λ/O/N ('good' in Greek) downwards in left field, bi-hims ('in Hims' in Kufic) in right field, Imperial bust facing, wearing diadem surmounted by cross, holding globus cruciger; in lower right field, star / Tayyib ('good' in Kufic) in exergue, Large m between Є/M/I - C/H/C; above, star between pellets within annulets. DOCAB 69. Earthen dark-brown patina. Nice very fine.
