Mihirakula. A.D. 515-540. Æ coin (19 mm, 2.36 g). Crowned king's bust right, with Brahmi legend Sri Mihira(kula) to right / Humped bull advancing left with crescent above; Brahmi legend (Ja)ya Vrisha below. MACW 3808. Our specimen has the king's name Mihira visible on obverse. Very rare and choice. Very fine.
