Description
A.D. 50-100. Æ coin (18 mm, 2.2 g). Elephant standing right, with sacred umbrella on its back / Tiger standing left, with one paw raised. Krishnamurthy, Sangam Age Tamil Coins, 208. The elephant standing right is much more rare than the usual elephant standing left. Very rare and choice. Nearly very fine.
