Skandagupta. A.D. 455-480. PB unit (15 mm, 2.27 g). Garuda standing facing with wings outstretched; all within square dotted border / Brahmi legend Sri Skandagu(pta); conch shell above; Brahmi date 14x below. Gupta lead coins with dates are rare. This specimen has a clear date - Gupta Era 14x (c. 460 A.D.). Nearly very fine.
