Menander I. 155-130 B.C. AR drachm (17 mm, 2.39 g). Diademed bust of Menander right, with Greek legend around / Athena Promachos standing left, brandishing thunderbolt and aegis, with Kharoshthi legend Maharajasa tratarasa Menamdrasa (of Great King Menander the Savior). HGC 12, 192. A lovely depiction of Athena. Rated as R3 (Extremely Rare) by HGC. Very fine.
