2nd century B.C. Heavy Æ coin (26 mm, 8.52 g). Kuraghara written in early Brahmi; hollow cross above / Hollow cross with four dots inside. Not listed in Pieper. An attractive heavy specimen with find deposits. Very rare and choice. Green patina. Good very fine.

Kuraghara was an ancient city state in central India after the collapse of the Mauryan empire. It issued very rare copper coins for local circulation.
