Description
Satyamitra. 3rd century A.D. Æ coin (20 mm, 7.72 g). Bull standing left, with sacrificial spear to left and Brahmi legend Satyamitasa below / Peacock standing right with palm tree to right. MACW 4761; Pieper 1012. This rare ruler issued coins in the Ayodhya region after the collapse of Kushan rule. Very rare and choice. Fine.
