Description
Vasisthiputra Sri Pulumavi. A.D. 85-125. AR drachm (17 mm, 2.18 g). Curly-haired bust of king right, wearing a jewel on forehead and battle-axe earrings, with Brahmi legend Raño Vasithiputasa Siri Pulumavisa around / Ujjain symbol and six-arched hill with crescent, with southern Brahmi/Telugu legend around. MCSI 146. This specimen has a wonderful portrait and clear legends. Rare and choice. Very fine.
