450-300 B.C. AR 1/4 karshapana (13 mm, .80 g). Bull advancing left with miscellaneous symbols around / Traces of undertype, with elephant advancing left. P. Anne van't Haaff, Saurashtra Surasena Silver Punchmarked Coinage, Type 5. Scarce. Very fine.

Saurashtra coins were used multiple times, so most specimens are found to be overstruck.
