Viravarman. 1247-1286. Base AV coin (17.5 mm, 3.6 g). Goddess Lakshmi seated facing / Devanagari legend Srimad Vi/ra Vama Hi/ra Devi. Not listed in John Deyell's Living Without Silver. This is the only type in the Chandella series that names a queen. Extremely rare and choice. Very fine.

Vira Varman's coins are extremely rare. They are not recorded by Deyell. This intriguing specimen mentions a lady Hira Devi, possibly a queen of Vira Varman?
