Description

early 8th-9th century AR unit (30 mm, 5.48 g). Recumbent bull (Nandi) RIGHT, with Brahmi legend Lakeriha above / Ornamental trident with moon and sun above, all within decorative border. This specimen is a mirror of the usual design, so we see the bull right instead of left, and the legend is also written retrograde: la ke ri ha instead of Harikela. Very rare and choice. Fine.
