Malaya Varma Deva. 1223-1233. BI jital (15 mm, 2.05 g). Stylized horseman advancing right / Nagari legend in 3 lines: Srimad Ma/(la)ya Vamma/ (De)va Sa 85 [Samvat 1285]. Tye 56; Deyell 362. Our specimen has the date VS (12)85 (1228 A.D.). Very rare and choice specimen, with complete details. Nearly very fine.

Malaya Varma's coins are all rare. Finding one with a clear date is very hard - even Tye couldn't find one to list.
