KUSHANO-SASANIAN. Hormizd I-Kushanshah, (circa 265-295 AD). Æ (2.20 gm; 15 mm). Obverse, bust turning right with lion headed crown and glob on the top, Pahlavi phrase starting at 3 oclock and counterclockwise,"Awhrmyzdy mlka" Reverse; figure representing Ahuramazda inside the flame with symbol of "Xvarreh" (greatness) and staff; Gobl 1052, MAC 1280-1283, Cribb 24. Lovely strike on a nice broad flan. Choice EF. Nice original find patina.
