KINGS of PARTHIA. Phraates III. Circa 70/69-58/7 BC. AR Drachm ( 4.12 gm; 21 mm). Rhagai mint. Struck circa 62 BC. Diademed facing bust, wearing necklace with medallion / Archer (Arsakes I) seated right on throne, holding bow; monogram below bow. Sellwood 35.7; Sunrise 330-1; Shore 165. A couple of tiny marks, traces of deposits, slight double strike on reverse. Ex Spink 198 (19 March 2009), lot 339. Choice EF. Nice old cabinet toning.
