Banded Agate Bead Necklace. Western Asiatic III-I Millennium BC. Single strand of brown/white/gray banded agate spherical in back with triple strand of black/gray/white agate rectangular beads in front. Two silver Byzantine (ca 1200 AD) filigree beads used to gather front to rear. 18” long. Restrung with modern clasp. Impressive.
