Description
A choice ceramic bowl from the Nal culture, Indus Valley of Baluchistan, c. 3000 – 2500 BC. This delicately made example is 3-1/2” in diameter, has a flat bottom and is decorated with bands of linear designs executed in brown over cream slip. The bowl retains a significant amount of a red pigment that was stored in it. Ex Khan family estate. Value Range: $175 - $250
