Description
A group of 7 Pre-Columbian terracotta heads & rollers. Four of the heads are Huastec, c. AD 200 - 500, and the one with the large headdress is from Teotihuacan, c. AD 400 - 600. Largest head measures 3 ¾” x 2 ¼” (9.5 x 5.7 cm). Also included is a pair of Calima/Tumaco-La Tolita ceramic rollers, Colombia/Ecuador, c. 300 BC, H: 2 ¾” (7 cm) & 2” (5.1 cm). Largest with minor chipping. Ex Los Angeles private collection. Value range $250 - $350.
