SASANIAN KINGS. Shapur II (309-379 AD). Silver Drachm (3.70 gm; 26 mm). Shapur's bust with standard crown turning right, group of triple dots on korimbos as well as body drape, reverse, fire altar with attendants, ribbon and symbol of Farawahar on the shaft of fire altar. Sunrise 834var. Couple of minor scratches on reverse at 2 o'clock (outside at the rim). Superb style. Choice EF. Toned. Extremely rare.
