TABERISTAN. Hani ibn Hani (787-791 AD & 171-175 AH & 136-140 PYE). Silver Hemidrachm (1.62 gm; 22 mm). Sasanian style bust turning right, name in Arabic in front of face Apzut and GDH phrases behind the head as usual, Pahlavi phrase “NYWK”-(per Pakzadian) on the 3rd quarter and Pahlavi phrase APD on the second quarter. reverse; fire altar with attendants, mint "TPURSTAN" to the right and year 136 to the left which was the first year of this Governor's reign. Album 69. Choice EF. Lightly toned.
