CILICIA. Myriandros, Satrap Mazaios (Ca. 361-334 BC). Silver Stater (10.58 gm; 24 mm). Cilician legend (‘BLTRZ’ = Baaltars) (retrograde), Baaltars, wearing an ornate crown, seated to right on a throne, the back of which terminates in a swan’s head, holding a lotus-flower in his right hand and a sceptre surmounted by lotus-flower in his left, a Cilician letter on right. Rev. Lion attacking stag. Sunrise -. Light porosity. Test cuts on obverse and reverse. Choice VF. Extremely rare.
