KINGS of BAKTRIA, Agathokles. Circa 185-170 BC. Æ Double Unit (7.48 gm; 22 mm). Draped bust of Dionysos right, wearing ivy wreath; thyrsos over shoulder / BASILWES above, AGAQOKLEOUS below, panther wearing bell standing right, raising paw; monogram below. Bopearachchi Série 5A; SNG ANS 234-235; MIG 147e. Some minor hairline scratches, otherwise well struck. Nice original reddish patina. Choice Good VF.
