Description
KINGS of PERSIS; Vadfradad (Autophradates) II. 200-150 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.72 gm; 24 mm). Head right, with short beard, wearing diadem and kyrbasia surmounted by eagle / Fire temple, Ahura-Mazda above; to left, king standing right; to right, standard surmounted by eagle. Sunrise 574; Alram 546. Lovely strike on a nice flan. Struck from very high relief dies. Choice EF.
