Description
SASANIAN KINGS. Shapur II (309-379 AD). PB (Lead) Unit (3.90 gm; 20 mm). Shapur's crowned bust turning right, large dots at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock, reverse, stand alone fire altar inside two rings, large dots visible at 6 and 9 o'clock. Lovely strike on a nice broad flan. Choice Good VF. Original find patina. Extremely rare.
