SASANIAN KINGS. Peroz (459-484 AD). Silver Drachm (4.00 gm; 29 mm). Peroz's bust with the 3rd and final crown to the right, Faravahar symbol at 6 oclock, reverse, fire altar with attendants in prayer mode, mint abbreviation "AW" to the right and king's name "PYLC"to the left. SNS Type IIIb/1c; Sunrise 941var.(with inverted Farahvahar monogram). Well struck on a nice broad flan. Choice aEF. Lightly toned. Extremely Rare.
