SASANIAN KINGS. Yazdgard I. AD. 399-420. PB (Lead) Unit (3.40 gm; 16 mm). obverse: bust turning right with letters in front of the face, letters in front of face: "YZDK" the beginning of Yazdgard, yzdklty. Reverse: Standard with fire altar and attendants. No crescent or dots or mint mark on the reverse. Simplicity of the portrait and the reverse points toward early issues. Lovely strike on a nice broad flan. Choice Good VF / EF. Extremely Rare.
