PTOLEMAIC KINGS of EGYPT. Ptolemy IV. 221-205 BC. Æ 34mm (42.20 g). Alexandria mint. Head of Zeus-Ammon right, wearing tainia / Eagle standing left on thunderbolt with open wings, head turned right; uncertain monogram between legs; c/m: cornucopia in incuse rectangle. Svoronos -; Weiser -; SNG Copenhagen -. Fine, black patina with some green deposits, some roughness on the reverse.

The monogram between the legs does not resemble anything published in Svoronos or Copenhagen. Perhaps it's a muddled example of a known issue, or perhaps it's a new control mark. A coin for further study.
