ROMAN EMPIRE. Marcus Aurelius, as Caesar. AD. 139-161. Æ Sestertius (22.56 gm; 33 mm). Rome, AD 151-152. AVRELIVS CAESAR AVG PII FIL, bare-headed and draped bust right / TR POT VII COS II, Minerva, helmeted and draped, standing left, holding Victory on globe in her right hand and spear and shield with her left. RIC 1309 (Pius); RSC. 654; BMCRE 1938 (Pius). Some tooling and smoothing on the fields. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Brown patina. Choice aEF.
