ARTUQUIDS of MARDIN, Husam Al-Din Yuluq Arsalan (1184-1201 AD). Æ drachm (10.64 gm; 30 mm). Obverse, Male bust/figure with name on both sides, reverse; legend “Al Malek al-Naser Salah al-donya wal-ddin Yusef ibn Ayyub” in six pointed star. Year 584?. The legend acknowledges the support of Ayyubids (Salahaldin of Crusade) for Artuqids. Album 1826, Tabatabai 549. Well struck on a nice full flan. Holed at 12 o'clock, otherwise, well struck. Original patina. Choice EF.
