SASANIAN Agate Stamp Seal. Ca. 4th-5th. Century AD. Set on a custom made silver ring (7.84 gm). Ring size 10. Mythological Bird/lion (similar to Senmourgh also known as Simourgh). Letters: “zynn” = Zen(e)n : Protector, someone who watches over. Reference: Farahwashi, Bahram: Pahlavi Dictionary, Tehran: 2002-2003. Excellent condition.
