SASANIAN Red Agate Ring Seal. Ca. 2nd-3rd. Century AD. (1.80 gm; 19mm x 16mm). Rooster with sun symbol behind the head. Roosters are a popular pattern in Sasanian seals. It refers to a person whose work is related to two categories:1-Prediction: As rooster sounds off about the coming sunrise in the morning 2-Male potency. Excellent condition.
