KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III. 336-323 BC. AR Tetradrachm (17.06 gm; 28 mm). Arados mint, posthumously, CY 41, 42, or 43 (219/8, 218/7, or 217/6 BC). Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin headdress / Zeus seated left, holding eagle and scepter; palm in left field, monogram below throne, date in exergue (off flan). Duyrat 1214-6 (D17/uncertain rev. die); cf. Price 3382. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Choice Good VF. Lightly toned.
