THRACE, Black Sea Area. Pantikapaion. Ca. Mid 4th. Century BC. Æ (7.30 gm; 20 mm). Bearded head of Pan right, wearing wreath of ivy leaves / Griffin left, fish below. SNG BMC Black Sea 869ff. Wonderful strike on a nice full flan. Excellent metal and surface. Nice brown patina. Choice FDC. Rare. Perfect example for this issue.
