SELEUKID KINGS; Seleukos I Nikator. 312-281 BC. Fourree Tetradrachm (14.82 gm; 27 mm). Susa mint. Struck circa 305/4-295 BC. Head of hero (Alexander or Seleukos?) right, wearing helmet covered with panther skin and adorned with the ear and horns of a bull / BASILEWS SELEUKOU, Nike standing right, holding wreath in her right hand which she places on trophy to right; AP below left wing, monogram to lower right. SC 173.16; ESMS 108 var. (A65/P- [unlisted rev. die]); ESM 301; Houghton -; Sunrise 174. Well struck on a nice full flan. Choice EF.
