Bust of Ardashir I turning left, wearing diadem (type R) and close-fitting headdress with kor ymbos and earflaps. / Fire altar (flames 2) with diadems (type R). SNS type IIIb(4a)/3a(2b), pl. 15, A42; Paruck -; Saeedi -; Not in Sunrise. Lovely strike on a nice flan. Exteremely rare variation of the coin with portrait turning left.
