IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III right / VENVS VICTRIX, Venus standing facing, head left, holding plumed helmet and transverse scepter; at her side behind, shield. RIC 131; RSC 347. Sharply struck on a nice broad flan. Some minor hint of light green deposit. Choice FDC. Lustrous.
