Britain, Kent Region. Cantiaci. Uncertain rulers. Ca. 120-100 B.C. Cast Æ unit (13 mm, 1.21 g, 9 h). Nipples type. Crude outline head left, around central nipple / Crude outline bull left around central nipple; above, crscent. ABC 174; Van Arsdell 138; BMC 718-23; SCBC 62. Dark brown patina. Nice very fine.

Here were see a further devolvement of design from the previous lot which, although far removed from the original Massalian issues it copies, is also quite crude. Here, however, the head of Apollo and the bull are nothing more than mere lines.
