Description
Eastern Europe. Imitating Philip III. 2nd century B.C. AR tetradrachm (27 mm, 16.91 g, 1 h). Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / [B]ΛΣΙΛΕΛΣ Φ]IΛΙΠΠΟV, Zeus seated seated left, holding eagle and scepter; in left field, two monograms; below throne, Z. Kostial 898; CCCBM I 185-90. Well centered and nicely detailed, struck in high relief. Choice very fine.
