An exceptional Tlatilco head fragment from Mexico, c. 1200 – 500 BC. This choice example is 2-1/4” high and depicts a male with a deeply ridged coif. The highly burnished orange slip show good mineral deposits and root marks. Mounted on stand. Museum deaccession. Value range: $125 - $200
