A seated Quimbaya female from Colombia, ca. 1000 - 1500 AD. This solid retablo type is 7-5/8" high and is posed with arms turned inward. The slit facial features create the enigmatic expression characteristic of the type. Intact, with strong mineral deposits, mounted on stand. Ex Hardy collection. Value range: $800 - $1000
