ARAB-SASANIAN, al-Hajjaj ibn Yusuf, AH 75-95. AR drachm (4.02 gm; 30 mm). BYSh (Bishapur) mint. Dated AH 80 (AD 699/700). Sasanian style bust imitating Khosrau II right; pellets ending each star in crescent; triple pellets flanking lowest crescent; “lillah al-hamd” in margin / Fire altar with ribbons and attendants; star and crescent flanking flames; date to left, mint to right.
