THRACE, Dynasts of Koson. mid to early 1st century BC. Gold Stater (8.49 gm; 18 mm). NGC-AU (Strike 4/5; Surface 3/5). Certificate # 4682265-010. Dacian mint, Roman consul accompanied by two lictors, monogram to left, ??SO? in exergue / Eagle standing left on scepter, holding wreath. BMC Thrace 1; RPC I 1701. Sharply struck on a nice full flan. Well centered. Choice AU. Fully lustrous.
