KINGS of MACEDON, Alexander III. 336-323 BC. Silver Tetradrachm Posthumous issue. Mesembria mint. Struck circa 300-250 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; small Corinthian helmet in left field, monogram on inner left filed and below throne. Cf. Price 1022. Beautiful custom-made jewelry. Nicely mounted in a 22k gold bezel with a suspension loop. (31.25 gm. total weight; 34mm x 31mm).
