KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III. 336-323 BC. Silver Drachm (4.09 gm; 19 mm).'Kolophon' mint. Struck circa 319-310 BC. Head of young Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / Zeus seated left, holding eagle and sceptre; monograms in left field and beneath throne. Price 1794; Müller 1605. Lovely strike on a nice broad flan. Well centered. Choice Superb EF.
