SASANIAN KINGS. Bahram (Varhran) IV, 388-399 AD. AR Hemiobol (0.32 gm; 11mm x 9mm). Sunrise 894var. Obverse, Bahram's bust with standard crown for the reign turning right, letters RD for mint city of Ray in front of face, reverse, fire altar with attendants. Bahram IV obols are extremely rare specially with mint abbreviation being some of the earlier versions of mint letters appearing on the series. Choice VF. Nice old-cabinet toning. Unpublished and Unique. Extremely rare.
