Description
SASANIAN KINGS. Bahram (Varhran) IV, 388-399 AD. PB (Lead) Unit (3.45 gm; 17 mm). Obverse, Bahram's bust turning right, heart shape monogram (possible abbreviation in caligraphic style also seen in Sasanian seals) in front of face, reverse, fire altar with attendants and figure in the fire altar. Well struck on a nice full flan. Choice aEF. Original find patina. Extremely rare.
