SASANIAN KINGS. Yazdgird II, 438-457 AD. Æ (0.92 gm; 15 mm). Standard style, unknown monogram in front of face, reverse, fire altar with attendants, with mint abbreviation of "AI" for Airan (Susa) on the right side of flame. Extremely rare location for mint abbreviation for the reign. Choice VF. Nice original reddish patina.
