KUSHANO-SASANIAN. Varhran I (circa 325-350 AD). Æ (2.34 gm; 16 mm). Bust of king to the right, Pahlavi legend at right, Reverse: Fire altar, with bust of Ahura Mazda emerging at the top inside the flame with symbol of "Xvarreh" (greatness and fortune for the selected king) and staff; MAC 1306-08, Gobl 1093, Cribb 27. Rare with well preserved details. Well struck on a nice flan. Choice aEF. Nice original find patina.
