TABERSITAN. APZUT series. Date: 134. AR Hemidrachm (1.88 gm; 24 mm). Obverse: Sasanian bust to the right, phrase APZUT in Pahlavi in front of the face, phrase “B(a)Kh B(a)Kh" in kufic (Meaning good and admired) on the 3rd quarter and Pahlavi phrase APD on the second quarter. Reverse; fire altar with attendants, mint TPURSTAN (Tabaristan) on the right, date: 134. Choice Superb, Fully lustrous. Extremely rare.
